The slide rail system is a vertical sheeting and trench support system. It is used to replace the conventional application of wood or steel sheeting. In using the system, the excavation may be shored from ground level to subgrade without soil movement.
This Canadian project construction consisted of three sewer treatment plants and collector sewer pipes for the plant where the construction crew installed 20' lengths of 24" PVC force mains.
The Corporate President, John Maragliano, brings over 35 years of trench shoring design and construction to American Shoring. Mr. Maragliano has extensive knowledge which he has shared over the years with seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada.
American Shoring was contracted to build custom heavy duty trench boxes for the construction of the foundation walls at the World Trade Center site in New York City. The custom boxes were 6" wall 10' high x 20' long heavy duty trench boxes.
This project was an installation of 2,600' of monotwin 5'x7' box culvert in 8' long, 24 ton sections utilizing American Shoring 8" Steel Heavy Duty Double wall model number 8H-1230D (8"Dx12'Hx30'L Panels) with 12' wide High Arch spreaders.
